Leah
Pearce
Treasurer
Leah currently holds the treasury position for the Lyons Community Farm Project. Part of her professional background is business administration, accounting/bookkeeping, a clinically trained herbalist and nutritionist. Utilizing all of those combined skills, she looks forward to nurturing the growth of the Lyons Community Farm Project's vision by community outreach and involvement and other administrative tasks. She currently works for an accounting firm, volunteers at her children's elementary school, gardens and is a loving mother of two. She enjoys making up fun recipes from the produce in her garden for her family.

Executive Director
Adrean helped start the Lyons Community Farm Project with Vassi Smith back in
2021. She's been leading the LCFP for 4 years and has seen it grow from her leadership
and community involvement. She has a diverse background ranging from Research in the field of Nuclear physics to massage therapy. Diversity is a strength in her eyes. She completed a
Permaculture Design Course at Elk Run Farm. Then, was inspired to put it into practice.
She understands teamwork makes the dreamwork and is grateful to work with nature.
Jessie Berta-Thompson
Seed Steward
Jessie is a local gardener who got a little bit obsessed with seeds 15 years ago, starting plants in the pantry (plantry) of her apartment, saving and swapping seeds with her friends. That's just one reason she was chosen to be our seed steward, and to maintain the Lyons Library seed bank . She's mostly learned about Colorado gardening by volunteering at various awesome local garden projects. Jessie has 2 biology degrees, mostly focused on algae, but the joy in details and in photosynthesis is definitely relevant to working with seeds.
